The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving. You will complete 5 adventure dives during this course. The Underwater Navigation Dive and the Deep Dive are the core dives and then you will get a choice of three elective dives. At Viti Water Sports there are 13 elective dives for you to choose from. Your instructor will help you choose which dives are best for you. The choices open to you are; AWARE-Fish Identification Dive Boat Dive Digital Underwater Photography Dive Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive Underwater Naturalist Dive Underwater Photography Dive Diver Propulsion Vehicle Dive Drift Dive Multilevel and Computer Dive Night Dive Search and Recovery Dive Underwater Videography Dive Wreck Dive What you will learn in this program will vary depending upon the elective dives you choose but will include: Practical aspects of deep diving Physiological effects of deeper scuba diving. More ways to use your underwater compass How to navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time How to better use your dive computer and electronic Recreational Dive Planner™ (eRDPML™) Prerequisites Be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organisation) Be 12 years of age or older Complete the Divers Medical Questionnaire Duration 2-3 Days What you get The PADI Adventures in Diving manual and Dive Planning SlateUpon successful completion of the course participants will receive an Advanced Open Water Diver Certification Card and Wall Certificate N.B.
